Session activity

Here you can see a list of your recent and active sessions, with location, browser, and other basic details.

We show this to help you stay informed about where and how your account is being accessed. It also helps us spot anything unusual and ensure the integrity of the accounts of our users.

We only make use of standard information that everyday Web servers normally receive (like IP address, browser type, and time zone). Nothing more. Our goal is to provide visibility, not to invade your privacy.

Location

Determined by IP address (locations are approximate)

Last activity

The most recent interaction our Web server had with your account via the given session.

Logged in at

When the log in took place (the log in event that created the session)

Device type, platform, operating system, browser

This information is determined from the User-Agent request header, a standard message that browsers send during normal use. Note that this information is not always accurate, due to irregularities among different browsers in communicating this information.

Screen dimensions

This is the size of the device screen in pixels, as the browser sees it. (Not physical pixels which may be different, for example on a high pixel-density monitor.) Our Web app asks the browser for this information and records it upon log in and sign up events.

Language

The language (ISO language code) determined from the Accept-Language request header, another standard message that browsers send during normal use. Generally this should match the language setting of the browser.
